Among the five Nordic countries we here initially focus less on Finland, as the other four basically share the same language. We are referring to the present-day situation, so the charts we use are those for the time of formally becoming an independent and sovereign nation or the formal introduction of a groundbreaking, new constitution – whichever is most recent.

Sweden may be a special case. Its Constitution is quite new, and our neighbor is now for obvious reasons collapsing as the society it once was.
